Deliverance

This point in life
nestled between peace and strife
gives rise to pain
glimpsed amidst a grimaced smile
despite my attempt to mask.

Instantly
he who created me
moves his hand
and takes away the misery
I can feel it in my bones
unfailing grace has made me whole.


There is lightening striking near my heart
its pulse illuminates the dark
My candor won't be strayed by thoughts of harm
I am armed!

My gaze is set
affixed upon my goal and now
my heart is strong
Ill reach the peace and win somehow.

Sorrow pain and fear will cease
I'll breach the strife to reach peace.
